Trafic de drogue à ciel ouvert aux HLM : La BRS de Dakar arrête 4 dealers avec 128 képas de kush
Elements of the Dakar Regional Narcotics Brigade (BRS), under the OCRTIS, arrested four individuals on Monday in the act of drug trafficking at the Guédiawaye garage, in front of the Dr Samba Guèye CEM, in the HLM sector.
The operation followed a tip-off indicating the presence of an open-air drug dealing network run by young people in the area, which had been the subject of several complaints from local residents. Reconnaissance and cross-checking missions were first carried out on site, allowing the operators of the drug dealing location to be identified.
This is how the four suspects were spotted in the middle of repackaging and distributing drugs. The raid resulted in the seizure of 128 kepas of kush and a loose package of the same product, three mobile phones, 17,850 CFA francs, as well as packaging materials, including a pair of scissors and coffee-selling equipment, according to Seneweb sources.
The four arrested are A. Camara, 18 years old, apprentice driver of Guinean nationality residing in Ouest-Foire; A. Fall, 41 years old, coffee seller residing in HLM 5; K. Ndiaye, 27 years old, driver residing in HLM 5 and N. Lo, 38 years old, apprentice driver residing in Guédiawaye.
They were taken into custody for conspiracy, possession and trafficking of drugs (kush) and money laundering.
