Ziguinchor : Un jeune malien retrouvé égorgé dans un « Tangana »
A young man of Malian origin was killed at his workplace, a "Tangana" located in the Santhiaba neighborhood. The victim, born in 2025, was found with his throat slit, according to reports.
The events took place this morning, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., according to testimonies gathered in this "Tangana" serving as a small restaurant.
When questioned at the scene by GMS, the establishment's manager explained that he had gone home for personal reasons, leaving his two apprentices behind for prayer: the young man who was killed and another, older one. He learned the news by phone before rushing to the scene of the crime.
The other apprentice stated that he went to the shop; it was on his return that he allegedly discovered the lifeless body of his work companion in a pitiful state, according to the owner of the eatery.
The victim's body was removed by firefighters. Police have opened an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the young man's death and to identify the perpetrator of this act, which has deeply shaken the entire neighborhood.
