Chine : Un influenceur de 55 ans meurt en direct dans le crash de l’hélicoptère qu’il avait construit
A 55-year-old influencer died this Saturday in China in the crash of a small helicopter he had built himself, during a live broadcast on social networks.
A live drama filmed by a thousand people. On Saturday, an influencer died in the crash of a small helicopter in Jiange County, China, reports China News Service, relayed by Newsweek.
The victim is Tang Feiji, a 55-year-old aviation influencer. The man had decided to livestream the flight of a small helicopter he had built himself, investing more than €42,000 in the project. According to Chinese media, the 115-kg craft was a twin-coaxial propeller microlight capable of climbing to a height of 600 m and flying at a maximum speed of 100 km/h.
Investigation opened into the crash
The helicopter had a range of 40 km, and the fifty-year-old apparently took off with a full tank of fuel. It is unclear what caused the crash, which more than a thousand people watched helplessly behind their screens, urging each other to alert emergency services.
The video shows the craft spinning and falling rapidly to the ground before bursting into flames. Law enforcement has opened an investigation into the accident, according to Corriere. Tanj Feiji had already been involved in two accidents in 2024, each time due to a fuel problem. At the time, he fell 5 and 10 meters, sustaining only minor injuries.
