Financement du terrorisme en Syrie: six ans de prison avec incarcération immédiate pour l'ex-PDG de Lafarge
Former Lafarge CEO Bruno Lafont was sentenced on Monday by the Paris Criminal Court to six years in prison with immediate incarceration for financing terrorism, for payments made to jihadist groups to keep a factory running during the war in Syria in 2013 and 2014.
The court also sentenced seven other former executives of the cement company to prison terms ranging from 18 months to seven years. It also ordered the immediate imprisonment of former deputy managing director Christian Herrault, who was sentenced to five years in prison.
