Le président libanais qualifie la frappe israélienne sur des journalistes de "crime flagrant"
The Lebanese president on Saturday denounced the Israeli strike that killed three Lebanese journalists in the south of the country, two from the Al-Mayadeen channel close to Hezbollah, and a correspondent for Al-Manar, a channel affiliated with the movement, calling it a "flagrant crime".
"This is a flagrant crime that violates all the norms and treaties under which journalists enjoy international protection in times of war," Joseph Aoun said on X. "Once again, Israeli aggression violates the most fundamental rules of international law, international humanitarian law and the law of war, by targeting journalists, who are first and foremost civilians carrying out their work," he continued.
