Michael Jackson : les deux hommes qui accusent le chanteur d'avoir abusé d'eux quand ils étaient enfants réclameraient 400 millions de dollars

The two men who accuse Michael Jackson of abusing them as children are reportedly seeking $400 million (€343 million) in damages.

A substantial sum, commensurate with the damages incurred if proven. Michael Jackson's sexual assault accusers, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, are reportedly seeking $400 million (€343 million) in damages from the pop star's estate, reports US Weekly.

While this sum had not previously been revealed, the magazine explains that it recently consulted court documents concerning the estate of the King of Pop, who died in 2008. The amount is apparently mentioned in a paragraph relating to the separate claim by Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris Jackson, concerning legal fees spent by the estate. A dispute pits the 27-year-old young woman against the executors of the will and the lawyers they employ to defend the interests of her late father's companies, MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures.

Paris Jackson reportedly finds their fees excessive. They deny having to manage a huge amount of documents related to several ongoing disputes, particularly those related to the singer's sexual assault allegations.

According to TMZ, the executors of the estate are arguing that if the lawyers are not paid, the lawsuit filed by Wade Robson and James Safechuck could be in jeopardy. A lawsuit that could be very costly, if the damages they are seeking are awarded.

For the record, Wade Robson and James Safechuck both claim to have been sexually abused by Michael Jackson as children. They detailed their allegations in the HBO documentary "Leaving Neverland."
