Pascal Boniface : "En trois semaines, je n'ai pas été invité une seule fois à la télé..."
It has been more than 20 days since Israel and the United States launched an attack against Iran. Since then, some French media figures have disappeared from the media.
Among them was Pascal Boniface, who explained the reasons for his absence in a video on Facebook. "In three weeks, I haven't been invited once to TV, radio, or consulted by the print media, and I almost consider it a point of pride," he said.
Why then this exceptional absence in the media? The person concerned responds: "What I say is not very popular. The comments are there to justify the war, not to oppose it, not to set limits, not to denounce the role of Israel. It is rather to applaud it," he laments.
According to him, some people don't invite him because they don't like what he says, while others don't invite him for fear of getting into trouble later. Hence the option of inviting people who subscribe to the prevailing narrative. This narrative portrays Israel and the United States as saviors and Iran as an existential threat to humanity.
Boniface can still take comfort in his continued presence on social media and the support he says he receives there.
