Abass Fall saisit la sûreté urbaine : Bougar Diouf convoqué
Bougar Diouf, a member of the Union of Pan-Africanists of Senegal (UPS), has been summoned to the Dakar police station following a complaint filed by the mayor of Dakar, Abass Fall. The summons, delivered by telephone, stems from a recent press article authored by Diouf.
According to information gathered, the article in question concerned municipal activities and prompted a reaction from the mayor, who felt he had been implicated. Abass Fall has therefore contacted the urban security services to have the published statements reviewed.
Bougar Diouf, for his part, maintains that the publication was part of the official communication of his political party, the UPS, and does not justify legal action against him personally. He also indicates that he is considering filing a counter-complaint, believing himself to be the victim of an abusive legal process.
Bougar Diouf's hearing is scheduled for tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Dakar urban security headquarters.
