Affaire Pape Cheikh Diallo : Face aux gendarmes, Kya Aïdara brise le silence sur les fréquentations de son ex-mari
There's a new development in the case of radio host Pape Cheikh Diallo, arrested for alleged acts against nature and intentional transmission of HIV/AIDS. As part of a judicial investigation, officers from the Keur Massar Research Brigade (BR) questioned one of his relatives, his ex-wife Kya Aïdara, for informational purposes only.
According to Seneweb, the woman was summoned twice for questioning as part of the investigation. During her hearings, she was questioned about the nature of her relationship with her ex-husband, as well as any suspicious male relationships the presenter may have had.
When questioned by investigators, Kya Aïdara stated that she had never been aware of any relationships Kya Aïdara had with men. According to her statements, the presenter was a caring husband, always there for his family and children, leading, she said, a perfectly normal married life.
What his HIV test revealed
According to sources close to the case, investigators also questioned Kya Aïdara about her own serological status. She immediately stated that she was negative.
At the request of Warrant Officer Gning, commander of the BR, the men offered her the opportunity to undergo another HIV/AIDS test to confirm her statements. The woman agreed to the procedure and, according to the medical results, the tests came back negative.
