Affaire Prodac : Pape Malick Ndour chez le juge ce mardi, un rendez-vous à 2 milliards F CFA
Former minister Pape Malick Ndour is expected to learn his fate this Tuesday regarding the Community Agricultural Domains Program (Prodac), the subject of a report by the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) highlighting irregularities in its management. L'Observateur reports that he is to be questioned on the merits of the case by the president of the panel of judges of the Financial Judicial Pool (PJF).
As the former coordinator of Prodac, Pape Malick Ndour was first questioned last November and charged with conspiracy, embezzlement of public funds, and money laundering. He was subsequently placed under judicial supervision with electronic monitoring.
An expert report, commissioned by the president of the PJF's panel of judges, reveals financial irregularities under his management of Prodac, estimated at between 2.2 and 2.7 billion CFA francs. It specifically mentions undocumented payments and retention of guarantees.
Pape Malick Ndour denies the charges against him. He will have to be convincing before the investigating magistrate this Tuesday.
