Après le meurtre de son ami Thier à Niague : Le lutteur Pokola Baldé disculpé et libéré
Wrestler P. Mbaye alias "Pokola Baldé", 30 years old, residing in Sébikotane, was finally exonerated and released by the special gendarmerie brigade of Niague, after his arrest and placement in custody for investigative purposes, following the murder of his friend, cart driver A. Ly alias "Thier", aged 33 and residing in Pikine.
According to Seneweb sources, his two companions, also released after consultation with Prosecutor Cheikh Diakhoumpa, head of the Rufisque prosecutor's office, are MDB Sarr, 20, a substitute coach from the Niague Frontière neighborhood, and M. Camara, 28, a substitute coach from the Fouta neighborhood of Niague. The three main suspects are actively being sought by the Niague gendarmerie.
The incident occurred last Wednesday evening at Chez Roméo bar in the Tawfekh neighborhood of Niague. Pokola and his friends were sitting at a table, drinking alcohol. A verbal altercation broke out with Babacar, a resident of the neighborhood. The bouncer intervened to calm things down.
But as they left the bar, about ten young people were waiting for the wrestler and his friends. A stone-throwing attack ensued. A. Ly was surrounded, beaten, and left in critical condition.
Transported on a cart to the Niague health post, he was then urgently transferred to the Sangalkam health center, where he died. His three companions were taken into custody for questioning.
