« C'est un sabotage ! » : Omar Dramé hors de lui après un 5ème renvoi de son procès contre Marième Soda Ndiaye
The legal battle between union leader Omar Dramé and the director of the CSAR, Marième Soda Ndiaye, appears to be dragging on in the corridors of the Dakar courthouse. On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, the trial was postponed for the fifth consecutive time, this time until June 10, a decision that provoked the defendant's fury.
Present in court, as he has been at every hearing, the Secretary General of the Interministerial Collective of Senegalese Civil Servants did not hide his exasperation at the plaintiff's repeated absence. "It's unacceptable! I'm always here, but she's never present. It's blatant sabotage," he fumed as he left the hearing.
Omar Dramé sees these systematic postponements, requested by the plaintiff, as an attempt at psychological harassment. "If it's to destabilize me, it's a lost cause," he insisted, before making a solemn appeal to the trade unions to denounce a procedure which, according to him, "no longer makes any sense."
