“It’s impossible to plead this case without holding ADDHOA accountable!” This is the opinion of Mr. Alassane Cissé, one of Fatima Marianne Fall’s lawyers. Fall was remanded in custody on March 25, 2026, for breach of trust, forgery, and use of forged documents to the detriment of the real estate company ADDHOA, where she worked as sales director. Subsequently, other clients came forward to report similar offenses. As a result, Marianne Fall was taken from her cell for questioning before being brought before the prosecutor and remanded in custody a second time on April 7, 2026.

According to the investigation, Fatima Marianne Fall, taking advantage of her position as sales director, maintained direct contact with buyers during the marketing of apartments. Using this position, she received payments, often in cash or by check, outside of the company's official channels, before withholding the full funds. To give these transactions an appearance of legitimacy, falsified documents presented as proof of payment, bearing ADDHOA's letterhead and stamps, were given to clients.

At the hearing on April 23, the trial chamber of the Financial Judicial Pool, ruling on matters of flagrant offense, ordered the joining of the two proceedings before adjourning the trial.

The case, heard on Thursday, May 21, 2026, was adjourned again until June 4, 2026, at the request of the defendant's lawyers. Mr. Abou Abdoul Daff, who made the request, informed the court that Fatima Marianne Fall had been taken from prison the previous day to the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) in connection with yet another similar case. For his part, Mr. Alassane Cissé formally requested that the court recognize the company ADDHOA as a party civilly liable in the proceedings.

On behalf of the plaintiff, Mr. Mamadou Seck urged the judge to retain the case for oral arguments and to reject the defense's motion. "In this case, ADDHOA is first and foremost a victim of forgery and use of forged documents," the lawyer emphasized.

The judge sought the opinion of the public prosecutor for financial matters, who deferred to the court's judgment. Will the judge recognize ADDHOA as a party civilly liable? A decision on this matter will be rendered on June 4, 2026, just before the start of the hearing.

La société est victime mais elle est civilement responsable si les reçus portaient son en-tête
