Fatou Laobé-Pawlish Mbaye : face-à-face au tribunal malgré le pardon
Singer Fatou Laobé and comedian Pawlish Mbaye will face off in the Dakar criminal court this Thursday. Laobé is suing Mbaye for defamation.
The complaint dates back to 2021, as reported by Les Échos, which also announced the trial. Following an exchange of questionable comments on social media, the complainant contacted the police. Pawlish apologized to investigators, and Fatou Laobé accepted his apology. Nevertheless, their dispute will be resolved in court.
"Since this is the first time the case has come to court, it is very likely that it will be adjourned to a later date in order to summon both parties for an appearance," Les Échos believes.
