The President of the Republic took part in the formal opening of the Senegal Bar Association's Internship Conference, a major ceremony marking a significant moment in national judicial life.
In his address, the Head of State emphasized the crucial importance of justice in consolidating the rule of law and ensuring the proper functioning of institutions. Addressing the growing expectations of citizens, he reassured them that the reforms underway in the sector would continue.
According to him, this transformation dynamic is being conducted methodically and with determination by the government, with the major objectives of strengthening the independence of the judiciary, improving the working conditions of judicial actors and modernizing the infrastructure and tools of the judicial system.
The President of the Republic also reiterated his commitment to completing these reforms in order to guarantee a more efficient, accessible, and credible justice system. He emphasized that this ambition is part of a comprehensive governance vision aimed at meeting the legitimate demands of the Senegalese people.
This formal opening of the academic year has thus served as a platform to reaffirm the State's commitment to a strong justice system, an essential pillar of democratic stability and national development.
