Militant de Pastef tué en France : «Boy Grand-Dakar» arrêté, la traque des «nationalistes» est lancée
C. Ndiaye, nicknamed "Boy Grand-Dakar," was arrested by the Special Cybersecurity Division (DSC) as part of the investigation into the death of Baba Abdoulaye Diop, known as "Guelwaar," who was stabbed to death in France by El SN, known as "Baol." He was taken into custody and was scheduled to appear in court on Monday on charges of inciting a crime or offense, glorifying a crime or offense, and disseminating offensive content electronically.
According to Libération, which broke the news of his arrest, the suspect is believed to be part of the gang allegedly involved in the death of "Guelwaar," a gang that also includes "Baol." Baol, who claims to be a "nationalist," makes xenophobic remarks.
The newspaper reports that "Boy Grand-Dakar" is implicated in a video where he is holding a knife and making death threats. The daily does not specify the target(s) of these threats, merely noting that a certain Abdoulaye Djiba shared the video, linking it to the death of "Guelwaar."
“He claimed to have obtained the video through an acquaintance and that his sole intention was to alert the authorities,” reports Libération. The newspaper adds that, to rule out any connection to the crime attributed to “Baol,” C. Ndiaye told investigators that the recording was five months old. “Further searches for potential arrests have been launched by the DSC,” the paper concludes.
