Procès pour viol et pédophilie : l'incroyable ligne de défense d'un accusé qui prétend n'avoir jamais eu d'érection !
Mr. Faye, in his thirties, was tried this Tuesday in the Dakar criminal court for the rape of a minor and pedophilia. Placed in pretrial detention on May 15, 2024, he is accused of sexually abusing his friend's daughter, Nd. Guèye, who was 9 years old at the time of the alleged offenses. Mr. Faye contested the accusation in the absence of the plaintiff. However, the judge referred to his statements made during the preliminary investigation.
When questioned by investigators, the girl explained that one day, while she was asleep in her parents' bedroom, she felt someone on top of her with a hard object between their legs. After a few moments, she said she felt a liquid. The complainant also reported a second incident. According to her account, another day, again while her parents were away, Mr. Faye found her in the bedroom.
Accused by the girl, the young man lunged at her, touching her inappropriately. Nd. Guèye stated that Mr. Faye had given her his cell phone so she could watch Mickey Mouse. However, he then inserted his hand into her vagina.
This chilling account was dismissed out of hand by Mr. Faye. The accused maintains he never abused his friend's daughter. He defended himself, claiming he is ill. "I've never had an erection since birth," Mr. Faye stated. The prosecutor pointed out that a doctor had conducted an experiment on him and that his erections were less firm. The accused insists: "I have never penetrated a woman in my life. This story is completely fabricated," he said.
The public prosecutor requested the application of criminal law. Following the defense's plea for acquittal, the case was adjourned for deliberation until April 21, 2026.
