SU de Guédiawaye : Adama Fall présente ses excuses à la police et invoque un écart de langage
A few days after his release from prison, Adama Adus Fall was taken into custody yesterday at the Guédiawaye Central Police Station's Urban Security Unit. His arrest is linked to comments he made during a program broadcast on the online television channels Source A and Public SN TV.
Indeed, in a sequence from the show which went viral, the aforementioned, returning to the reasons for his previous arrest which had earned him a court appearance for driving without a license, maintained that the police officers who subjected him to a traffic stop on the day of the incident had, after his arrest, tried in vain to offer him a ransom in exchange for his release.
As soon as he appeared before the investigators, Adama Fall immediately offered his sincere apologies for his remarks, which he attributes to a slip of the tongue according to Seneweb sources.
It should be noted, however, that he had never mentioned these allegations in his interrogation report, as part of the proceedings that had recently targeted him for driving without a driver's license.
The columnist for this web channel was taken into custody for defamatory remarks likely to discredit a profession (the police) following advice from prosecutor Saliou Dicko. He will be brought before a judge next Monday unless there is a change in the schedule.
