Supporters sénégalais détenus au Maroc : "Certains d'entre eux sont gravement malades", alerte l'ASC Lebou Gui
In a statement, the ASC Lebou Gui Dangou of Rufisque is raising the alarm about the critical situation of Senegalese supporters imprisoned in Morocco since the 2025 AFCON final. According to the statement, these compatriots are facing difficult prison conditions and some of them are seriously ill.
Despite their worrying health condition, they are not receiving the necessary care and are subjected to inappropriate treatments. "Instead of receiving the necessary care, they are given medication that makes them sleepy," the statement said.
Worse still, their calls for help to be taken to the infirmary or hospital are ignored.
Faced with this situation, the fans are now refusing these medications, distrusting their doctors. They warn that deaths could occur if nothing is done.
ASC Lebou Gui calls on all stakeholders, including the Presidency of the Republic of Senegal, the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of African Integration and Foreign Affairs, as well as the Senegalese Football Federation, to mobilize to find a quick and effective solution to free these compatriots.
"We reiterate that strategies for their release must involve all stakeholders. It is together that we can free our brothers as quickly as possible," the statement concludes.
