Trafic de migrants et escroquerie : du fond de sa cellule, le maire de Jaxaay révèle sa grosse inquiétude
The mayor of Jaxaay, Abdoul Aziz Diané, and his co-defendants—his municipal secretary, I. Seydi, and a shopkeeper—will learn their fate this Monday. Brought before the Pikine-Guédiawaye court on Friday, they were granted a preliminary hearing.
The three individuals are being prosecuted for conspiracy, migrant smuggling, fraud, and impersonating a public official (the woman only). They have been taken to different police stations in the suburbs for an extension of their custody, pending their appearance before the prosecutor, L'Observateur reports.
The newspaper reports that "almost all" of the Jaxaay town hall employees had deserted the institution to go to the gendarmerie's research brigade to show their solidarity with the mayor.
The mayor, visibly concerned about the situation in his municipality, told his staff: "I am very worried about the functioning of the town hall."

Je suis entièrement d'accord avec le dernier intervenant c'est pas du tout dimbali qui que ce soit c'est plutôt de la corruption et c'est malhonnête il faut se contenter de son salaire et pourquoi pas faire un business propre à côté et les millions de chômeurs sans ressources il faut pensé à cela aussi
