Washington Post : suppression de 300 postes de journalistes sur les 800

The Washington Post will lay off 300 journalists out of a total of 800. This is what the newspaper "L'Humanité" reported on Friday 6, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 January 2026. "This Wednesday, February 4, the management of the Washington Post announced the elimination of 300 journalist positions out of 800. Most of the foreign correspondents, including those in the Middle East," reads page 14 of this edition.
