USA : Le propriétaire de l’empire du sexe OnlyFans, décède à 43 ans
Sad news for OnlyFans subscribers. The platform's owner, Leonid Radvinsky, died on March 20, 2026 in Florida, at the age of 43 after a long battle with cancer.
The company confirmed his death in a statement released yesterday, Monday, March 23. "We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer," said a spokesperson for the erotic website.
Spectacular growth in one year
Ukrainian-American entrepreneur Radvinsky acquired OnlyFans in 2018. At the time, it was simply a subscription platform for creators, specifically artists and influencers. Transaction volumes were still modest. It was under Radvinsky's ownership that OnlyFans definitively positioned itself as an erotic and pornographic website.
Growth then became spectacular. In one year, that is, from 2019 to 2020, the platform's revenues increased from $49 million to $358 million.
In 2023, the site's earnings were estimated at over $1.3 billion. The Covid-19 pandemic contributed to the company's spectacular success.
In 2024, the company's gross transaction volume reached $7.2 billion
During this period, many sex workers joined OnlyFans to generate income.
In 2024, the company's gross transaction volume reached $7.2 billion.
Management recently considered selling a majority stake to the investment firm Architect Capital.
Radvinsky didn't just own OnlyFans. He also owned the venture capital fund "Leo," which primarily invests in technology companies.
