Insultes, plaintes… : Titi, Viviane, Aïda Samb et Daba Sèye autour d’un violent clash
Tensions are running high in the Senegalese music industry these past few days. Indeed, prominent figures in Senegalese music, including Viviane Chidid, Titi, Daba Sèye, and Aïda Samb, are embroiled in a conflict. The latter two have made no secret of their disagreement with Ndèye Fatou Tine, also known as "Titi the Lioness." Their dispute has escalated, and legal action is expected.
It all started with Aïda Samb's statement in an interview that she was open to any musical collaboration, including with Titi, just like any other female artist. This statement was deemed hypocritical, as Titi, the lead singer of "Beuri Bagages," doubted the sincerity of Aïda Samb's words.
"We were both with the Prince Arts label. So if she really wanted it, we would have done it by now," she explained.
As if to add fuel to the fire, the recent release of Viviane Chidid's music video "Legend Act 2," featuring Aïda Samb and Daba Sèye, has further heightened tensions between these artists. On social media, too, a virtual war is raging between their fans.
Even though Viviane, in her corner, did not comment on her choice of artists, Daba Sèye, for her part, confirms her unconditional love and attachment to the Queen of the Jolof Band, of whom she has been full of praise.
Aïda Samb, for her part, has announced that she will be filing lawsuits against those who have been insulting her since the release of her music video "Maana." The video was deemed provocative by Titi's fans.
