Limogeage de Sonko : Ads Sénégal ca Kanam fait bloc derrière le président de la République
The Alliance for the Development of Senegal (ADS SENEGAL CA KANAM) has published a motion of total and unwavering support for the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye. This stance follows the Head of State's decision to dismiss Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko.
In its statement, the political organization cites Article 49 of the Constitution to reiterate that the Head of State is the sole judge of the appropriateness of changes to his government team. According to ADS SENEGAL CA KANAM, this prerogative ensures the coherence and effectiveness of public action.
A decision to accelerate the national agenda
The ADS SENEGAL CA KANAM welcomes what it calls an "act of responsibility." According to the movement, this measure aims to "accelerate the implementation of the national transformation agenda Senegal 2050 and to meet the legitimate expectations of the Senegalese people in terms of sovereignty, social justice and economic recovery."
In response to this situation, the ADS SENEGAL CA KANAM, through its President, Dr. Salihou KEITA, is calling on all active forces, activists, and citizens. The statement urges them to remain mobilized, united, and calm in support of the President of the Republic. It concludes by reiterating that Senegal needs stability to successfully implement the profound reforms underway.
