Korité à la mosquée omarienne : Le message de l’imam aux étudiants, aux autorités et aux parents
At the Omarian Mosque, the Eid al-Fitr prayer was held this Friday. Addressing the congregation, Imam Thierno Seydou Nourou Tall spoke about several current issues, including the state of universities. He also appealed to the authorities.
"Everyone who has been a student knows the value and importance of a scholarship. When it doesn't come on time, it's difficult. So we must make sure that they get their scholarships," said the imam, whose remarks were reported by RFM.
The religious man also offered advice to the students: "They must also know that they are no longer children. When something upsets them, they should prioritize discussion. But no good result can come from violence," he said.
As for the children, the imam drew the parents' attention. He asked them to give them a good education, to teach them values, and to be careful about the friends they associate with.
