Hôpital Dalal Jamm: une deuxième greffe de moelle osseuse réussie par une équipe 100℅ féminine
The Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Dalal Jamm National Hospital successfully performed its second transplant, just a few months after the first historic operation carried out in mid-2025.
As with the first operation, the intervention was carried out from start to finish by an exclusively Senegalese team, confirming the country's progress towards enhanced medical autonomy.
This new transplant was performed by an all-female medical team, led by Professor Fatou Samba Diago Ndiaye, head of the Clinical Hematology Department. She was assisted by Professor Seynabou Fall and Dr. Lolita, who were also involved in the first successful procedure.
The patient, now fully recovered and in excellent health, expressed his deep gratitude to the medical team for their professionalism and the quality of care provided.
