3000 FCFA pour un rendez-vous sexuel : 2 présumés homosexuels arrêtés par la SU de Guédiawaye
The Guédiawaye Central Police Station's Urban Security Unit, headed by Lieutenant Sy Ba, arrested two suspected homosexuals who were taken into custody for conspiracy, acts against nature, and illegal collection of personal data, according to Seneweb sources. The suspects are B. Seck, 21, a restaurant owner residing in Guédiawaye, and SM Ba, 67, unemployed, also a resident of Guédiawaye.
Police intervention to prevent a lynching
According to the police officer, he was alerted by local residents that a suspected homosexual was being lynched by a mob. Without delay, he immediately went to the scene where he found the crowd violently attacking B. Seck. The officer managed to bring the situation under control and took both individuals, B. Seck and SM Ba, to the police station.
B. Seck's version
When questioned at the police station, B. Seck stated that S. Ba had contacted him via Facebook for a "fun encounter with a man." Ba allegedly sent him 3,000 CFA francs for transportation. Upon arriving at the location and in Mr. Ba's room, S. Ba allegedly told him that he was the man and that it was B. Seck who should have sexual relations with him, which he claims he refused.
SM Ba's version
For his part, S. Ba admitted to having sought a partner for a fun encounter via the Facebook page "Yacine".
Thinking he was dealing with a prostitute, he invited the woman into his room. When it came time to have sex, he claims he realized the individual was a man. He then allegedly pushed her away and called for help.
The altercations are alarming the neighborhood.
It was in these circumstances that altercations occurred between the two individuals, attracting the attention of the neighborhood who gathered at the scene, triggering an attempted lynching before the intervention of the police.
