Acte contre nature à Popenguine : Un présumé homosexuel arrêté après un viol sur un mineur de 12 ans
The Popenguine Territorial Brigade, under the Mbour Gendarmerie Company, brought a suspected homosexual to the prosecutor's office on Monday for rape committed on a minor under 13 years of age, unnatural act, abduction of a minor and pedophilia, according to exclusive information from Seneweb.
It all started on February 23, 2026, when IN arrived in front of the commander accompanied by his 12-year-old nephew AN, to report that the latter was allegedly a victim of sexual abuse committed by a man working in a vehicle wash shop in Guéréo.
Immediately, investigators opened an inquiry by sending a request to the Grand Mbour hospital for a medical examination. The medical report filed in the case concluded that there was an anal fissure at 6:00 AM, the observed injuries being consistent with the reported events.
The raid carried out in Guéréo led to the arrest of the accused, MN, a vehicle washer, on February 28, 2026. When questioned by investigators, the minor AN pointed an accusing finger at MN, stating that he had been abused several times in his room.
He also revealed that after each act, the accused threatened him with death before handing him coins to buy his silence, according to our sources close to the prosecutor's office.
When questioned about the events, MN denied them unconvincingly. He did, however, admit that the minor frequented his laundry room and bedroom, both day and night.
The case file has been submitted to the Prosecutor in Mbour. A judicial investigation will likely be opened by the head of the prosecutor's office.
