Affaire de la tiktokeuse Imane Traoré et Cie : Le procureur Saliou Dicko ouvre une information judiciaire
Things are getting complicated for TikToker Imane Traoré and her four accomplices, who were arrested for a hard drug case on Saturday night by police officers from the Yeumbeul-Comico district police station, under the command of Commissioner Ousmane Diop.
According to Seneweb sources, Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office, requested the opening of a judicial investigation. He reportedly even requested detention orders for the five suspects. Imane Traoré and her associates, however, were brought back before the prosecutor's office a second time on Wednesday. Barring any changes, they will be sent to prison on Thursday by the investigating judge in charge of the case.
As a reminder, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, around 6 a.m., members of the BR of the Comico police, returning from a mission in the Yves Niang district, brought five individuals to the police station for possession and trafficking of crack.
The operation follows the exploitation of intelligence indicating an active network in the area. Three of the accused were caught in the act of using drugs in an apartment in this housing estate: Fatimata Traoré, alias "Imane Traoré", born in 2005 in Dahra Djoloff, a TikToker; Djéba Sow, born in 2004 in Yeumbeul, a hairdresser; and Pape Diouf, born in 2004 in Yeumbeul, a tiak-tiak driver, all residing in the Yves Niang estate.
Arfang Diouf, born in 2006 in Guédiawaye, unemployed, residing in Kounoune, and Ismaïla Bâ, born in 2005 in Dakar, a student residing in Golf Sud, were also arrested.
They admitted to the charges against them and identified Pape Diouf as their drug supplier. He was arrested at the Yeumbeul station on his Liberty scooter.
His cooperation with investigators led to the arrest of a fifth individual, caught red-handed delivering drugs. He was carrying two rocks of crack cocaine and six mobile phones.
The search of the premises and the suspects led to the seizure of two crack rocks weighing a total of 8.6 g, packaging material including three plastic bags, aluminum foil, nine mobile phones and two scooters.
