Affaire des Homosexuels, Jamra prévient le procureur : "Il y’aura des pressions de l’intérieur du pays et des puissances occidentales, mais…"
The scandal this weekend involving the famous radio host Pape Cheikh Diallo and the singer Djiby Dramé continues to make headlines. This homosexuality affair has, of course, prompted a reaction from the Vice-President of the NGO Jamra, Mame Matar Guèye.
The latter, true to his principles, wanted to warn the prosecutor of Pikine-Guédiawaye, Saliou Dicko, about the next steps concerning these homosexuality cases involving public figures.
According to the defender of moral and religious values, there will be pressure. "I ask prosecutors Ibrahima Ndoye (public prosecutor) and Saliou Dicko to be firm because there will be pressure from within the country and internationally, as it involves celebrities."
Mame Matar Gueye recalled a similar story in 2009 which prompted intervention from the French government, which claimed citizens' rights to a sexual orientation.
