Affaire Pape Cheikh Diallo : 45 arrestations au total, découvrez les derniers profils envoyés en prison !
There's a new development in the dismantling of a vast network of suspected homosexuals by the Keur Massar Research Brigade (BR). According to Seneweb sources, the last four suspects arrested were brought before the investigating judge of the first chamber at the Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court yesterday, Thursday.
J. Ndiaye, an agent in a financial company, the restaurateur C. Sarr, the refrigeration technician D. Dia and the cook D. Camara were charged and then placed under arrest warrant on the same day by the investigating magistrate.
The arrests unfolded in several stages. A few days after the arrest of Cameroonian national Stéphan, investigators apprehended J. Ndiaye at his company premises by plainclothes gendarmes in an unmarked vehicle, before being taken to the Keur Massar Criminal Investigation Brigade. His contact, D. Camara, a cook residing in Mbao, was caught shortly afterward thanks to a fictitious order placed by the investigators.
Meanwhile, the investigations had made it possible to identify C. Sarr, alleged partner of trader Ibrahima Magib Seck, arrested in Almadies, as well as D. Dia, refrigeration technician arrested in Pikine Icotaf, suspected of being a partner of singer Djiby Dramé.
The four accused reportedly confessed to the charges against them. Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office, had been kept informed of developments in the case.
In total, the BR of Keur Massar has arrested 45 suspects since the beginning of the dismantling of this network.
