Ahmed Khalifa Niasse prédit une mauvaise nouvelle : "Dans quelque temps, Ousmane Sonko va..."
Ahmed Khalifa Niasse granted a special interview to Seneweb. The religious leader and politician discussed his tumultuous relationship with Pastef leader and Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko.
"I supported him and received him at my home, even though he was a plague victim. I told him this yesterday (when he met Ousmane Sonko, editor's note) and he confirmed it," he initially declared to deny claims that he had changed his position to get closer to Pastef.
Continuing, Ahmed Khalifa Niasse referred to his controversial statement during the national dialogue organized by former President Macky Sall, which had earned him criticism from members of the current regime: "Gueum door." According to him, Pastef leader Ousmane Sonko will be forced, in the near future, to resort to force like his predecessor. "Pastef members criticized me for my remarks, but remember what I tell you. In a while, you will see, Ousmane Sonko will do 'Gueum door' (hit the crowd, without distinction, in French). In a while, there will be unrest in this country and Sonko and Diomaye Faye will do what I said and use force to retaliate," predicted Ahmed Khalifa Niasse.
Ahmed Khalifa Niasse also added that with the terrorist threat looming over Senegal's borders, Ousmane Sonko and Diomaye Faye will have to resort to "gueum door" to protect their people.

After a year of actions demanding the reinstatement of the two elected union leaders, on October 26, 2021, workers at the Sheraton Grand Conakry submitted a strike notice demanding reinstatement of their union leaders and respect for the freedom of association
When the parties could not come to an agreement, union delegates announced to the membership on December 7 their intent to declare a strike; three days later, on December 10, management announced to workers that due to a mold contamination, the entire hotel would close for repairs
