Bagarre avec une cliente : La femme du lutteur Ada Fass condamnée pour CBV
Trader Mariama Danfakha, wife of the famous wrestler Ada Fass, appeared this Thursday before the Dakar court for intentional assault and battery resulting in a temporary incapacity for work (ITT) of five days as well as for non-public insults.
The defendant had an altercation with her customer, Ndèye Khoudia Sall, who came to her shop to pick up a product ordered during a live stream.
Mariama Danfakha, who was pregnant, appeared in court as a free woman. The defendant denied the charges against her, while the complainant gave a different version of events.
According to her, the events date back to December 2025. She had followed a live stream of the woman in order to buy a product and had confirmed her order by paying a deposit of 10,000 FCFA.
However, when she went to the store to collect the item, the shopkeeper told her that she could no longer find the product.
The plaintiff claims to have waited almost an hour without being served.
After a heated exchange, she stated that she went to sit on the stairs. It was there that Mariama Danfakha allegedly ordered her to leave, insulting her, before grabbing her by the collar.
Drivers of "thiak-thiak" taxis reportedly intervened to calm them down. Subsequently, the defendant's husband allegedly reimbursed her the 10,000 FCFA.
This account was disputed by Mariama Danfakha, who maintains that she neither insulted nor grabbed her client. She argues that, due to her pregnancy, she would not have taken any risk of a physical confrontation.
Called as a witness, her husband Adama Fass stated that he did not witness a fight. He said he only heard a verbal exchange before reimbursing the customer 10,000 FCFA to settle the dispute.
Ndèye Khoudia Sall also claims to have lost her gold necklace during the altercation and demands the sum of 250,000 FCFA in damages.
In his observations, the public prosecutor requested that the charges of insult be dismissed. However, the prosecution maintains that the offense of assault and battery has been established and has requested a fine of 50,000 FCFA.
Defense attorney El Mamadou Ndiaye argued for the dismissal of the proceedings without penalty or costs, while also asking the court to reject the civil party's claim.
The court ultimately sentenced Mariama Danfakha to two months' imprisonment suspended and a fine of 100,000 FCFA.
