Baux Maraîchers : dispute autour d'une « passe » impayée, deux hommes déférés
A violent altercation between two young men, which occurred last Saturday at the Baux Maraîchers bus station in Pikine, ultimately led to both men being brought before the prosecutor. According to Les Échos, what initially appeared to be a simple fight revealed a case of unnatural acts involving 10,000 FCFA.
The incident occurred around 11 a.m. on a broken-down bus used as a dormitory by some train station passengers, according to the same source. That day, Mame Baye C. (20 years old) met Bandji S. (24 years old) inside the vehicle. The younger man allegedly offered 10,000 FCFA in exchange for sex, before attempting to leave without paying after the act was completed.
The refusal to pay sparked a heated argument, followed by a physical altercation between the two men. Alerted by the commotion, passersby and other passengers at the station rushed over and notified the officers at the bus station police station, who quickly intervened to arrest them.
During the investigation, Mame Baye C. denied the allegations, claiming he had not spent the night on the bus and rejecting any involvement in unnatural acts. However, an eyewitness contradicted his version, confirming his prolonged presence inside the vehicle, although he specified that he had not directly witnessed the alleged act.
At the end of their detention, the two suspects were brought before the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court. They are being prosecuted for unnatural acts and public indecency, the daily newspaper reports.
