BR de Keur Massar : Ce qui est reproché à Mamadou Guèye, ancien directeur des Domaines
As reported by our colleagues at 2AS Media, Mamadou Guèye, former director of State Property and mayor of Djida Thiaroye Kao, was arrested for land fraud upon his return to Senegal.
According to Seneweb sources, the suspect was arrested at his home by the Keur Massar investigation unit. His arrest is related to the case concerning the land belonging to the Pikine-Guédiawaye court.
As part of this investigation led by the DIC (Criminal Investigation Division), former Minister of Justice Ismaïla Madior Fall, former Director of State Lands Mame Boye Diao, and other suspects have already appeared in court. An arrest warrant had been issued for Mamadou Guèye, the last Director of State Lands under President Macky Sall, who was out of the country at the time.
On the request of prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office, the investigating judge of the 2nd chamber, Magatte Thiam, sent a judicial delegation to the commander of the BR of Keur Massar according to Seneweb sources.
This is how Mamadou Guèye was arrested at his home upon his return to the country. He was questioned about the sale of the courthouse land, which had been subdivided into 36 plots. His appearance before the investigating magistrate is expected early next week.
