De la soirée "trap" d'Ouest Foire à Ouakam : deux fêtards et une dealeuse guinéenne arrêtés avec de la cocaïne par la BRS de Dakar
The Dakar Regional Narcotics Brigade (BRS) of the OCRTIS carried out two operations in quick succession on April 1 and 2, 2026, resulting in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of several psychotropic substances, according to Seneweb sources.
A "Trap" night goes wrong at Ouest Foire
Based on intelligence indicating a large-scale drug trafficking network between Ouest Foire, Les Almadies, and the surrounding areas, investigators learned that an individual was preparing to host a drug-use party, commonly known as a "trap," in a furnished apartment in Ouest Foire. A surveillance operation was immediately set up on April 1, 2026, around 10:00 PM.
The following day, April 2, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., operational personnel learned that the suspects, after spending the night using drugs, had placed another order. Officers raided the premises and arrested them in the act.
A search of the apartment yielded fourteen canisters of nitrous oxide, a ball of hashish, and an orange ecstasy pill. A thorough search of the black Toyota Corolla parked in front of the building also uncovered five grams of cocaine. Two Samsung cell phones and the vehicle were also seized and impounded.
Two suspects have been arrested: BN, 31, a businessman residing in Ouest Foire, and NS, 46, a taxi driver residing in Thiaroye Gare. NS claims to have obtained the cocaine from a dealer living in Ouakam, without providing further details. Both are being held in custody on charges of conspiracy, possession, and international drug trafficking.
A Guinean reseller arrested in Ouakam
Continuing their investigation, the BRS officers traced the trail back to Ouakam. A team was deployed after a fictitious order for half a ball of cocaine was placed. A meeting was arranged near the local high school. After a few minutes of waiting, the dealer revealed her exact location and was immediately arrested.
The woman arrested is BD, a 29-year-old Guinean businesswoman residing in Ouakam, identified as the head of a cocaine and ecstasy trafficking network. The seizure at her home, located after an investigation because she refused to provide the address, yielded 240 ecstasy tablets, including 181 orange tablets and 59 red-violet tablets, commonly known as "Tik Tok" according to Seneweb sources.
Two mobile phones, an iPhone 13 and a Tecno, as well as the sum of 16,000 CFA francs were also seized.
When questioned, she readily admitted to owning the seized goods. She was taken into custody for conspiracy, possession, and international drug trafficking.
