Décès de sa mère : Le rappeur Doff Ndèye retourne à la prison de Kaolack après avoir fait son deuil à Dakar
Detained since June 24, 2024 at the Kaolack House of Arrest and Correction (MAC) for illegal possession of a weapon and attempted murder of B. Faye, rapper Alassane Diallo, better known by his stage name Djily alias Doff Ndèye, was granted exceptional authorization for escorted exit this Saturday, September 13, 2025.
This legal favor allowed him to return to his family home in Dakar to celebrate the mourning of his mother, Awa Guèye, who was called to God on the day of Mawlid. The authorization, limited to a period of 24 hours, was granted by the investigating judge of the first chamber at the High Court of Kaolack, following a request submitted by his lawyer, Mr. Abdou Aziz Diop, according to Seneweb sources.
Welcomed in an atmosphere filled with emotion and euphoria by his loved ones, the rapper shared this moment of meditation and prayers under the close supervision of prison officials. At the end of this interlude, he is currently being escorted back to Kaolack prison where he will continue his detention, according to Seneweb sources. The artist's relatives took advantage of this circumstance to request clemency from the courts in favor of the inmate.
This request echoes the recent appeal launched by the Islamic NGO JAMRA, through its vice-president, Mame Makhtar Guèye, who advocated for humanitarian provisional release. The organization believed it was both just and necessary to allow Doff Ndèye to fully mourn his loss alongside his grieving family.
