Découverte mystérieuse à Touba : Une femme de 60 ans trouve un nouveau-né dans son salon

A rather unusual event occurred yesterday, Friday, January 23rd, in Touba. O. Diagne, a 60-year-old shopkeeper, arrived at the Gouy-Mbind police station around 11 a.m. holding a newborn baby girl in her arms.

According to the woman's statement, she had gone out to buy breakfast. Upon her return, she was shocked to discover a newborn girl lying on an armchair in her living room, according to Seneweb sources.

Not knowing what to do in this situation, she immediately went to the nearest police station to report the facts and hand the infant over to Lieutenant Pape Demba Diouf's men.

The head of the police station quickly sent a request to Ndamatou Hospital so that the baby could undergo a complete medical examination to ensure its state of health.

The delegate of the Public Prosecutor at the Mbacké District Court, Moussa Guèye, has been informed of the facts. An investigation has been opened to try to identify the parents or the person who abandoned this newborn and to determine the exact circumstances of this abandonment.
