Diamaguène : Un dealer cachait ses cornets de chanvre indien dans la cuisine de son domicile
The members of the research brigade of the district police station of Diamaguène Sicap-Mbao, under the command of Commissioner Cheikh Tidiane DIALLO, neutralized an Indian hemp dealer during a patrol.
A suspicious attitude that betrays the dealer
The accused, S.FAYE, alias Jean, aged 34, a mason, residing in the Abdou Ndiaye district, attracted the attention of the police by attempting to take refuge hastily in his home with a suspicious air, abandoning his motorcycle on the scene as well as a cone of Indian hemp.
He was quickly apprehended and arrested on the spot.
23 cones discovered in the kitchen
When questioned about the origin of the drugs, S. FAYE offered no plausible explanation. A search of his home then revealed his secret: 23 more packets of marijuana carefully hidden in the kitchen. A body search also uncovered 6,000 CFA francs concealed in his underwear. When questioned about the source of this money, the trafficker admitted it came from selling six packets of marijuana at 1,000 CFA francs each.
In total, 24 packets of marijuana, a motorcycle, and 6,000 CFA francs were seized and placed under seal. Following the investigation, S. FAYE was brought before Prosecutor Saliou DICKO to answer charges of possession and trafficking of marijuana.
