Drame à Ndame-Ndame : Une quinquagénaire meurt après une chute dans un puits
A tragedy occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning in the village of Ndame-Ndame, located in the commune of Thiéppe (department of Kébémer). Binta Sow, a woman of about 50 years old, lost her life after falling into a well around 6 a.m.
According to initial reports, the alarm was raised shortly after the incident, prompting a rapid response from the Kébémer fire brigade. They recovered the victim's body, which was already lifeless at the bottom of the well.
The body was taken to the morgue at Kébémer Hospital for autopsy, while the local gendarmerie brigade opened an investigation to shed light on the circumstances of the tragedy.
In the village of Ndame-Ndame, the news caused a great deal of emotion. Relatives, neighbors, and friends of the victim are shocked by this sudden death, which once again raises the issue of safety around wells in rural areas.
