Drame à Tambacounda : Un adjudant de la gendarmerie met fin à ses jours
The National Gendarmerie is in mourning following the death of a senior non-commissioned officer. Adjutant M. Ndiath, head of the administrative and technical service (SAT) of the Tambacounda gendarmerie legion, took his own life using his service weapon, according to exclusive information obtained by Seneweb. The tragedy occurred on Thursday, May 7, at his residence.
In a suicide note found at the scene, Warrant Officer Ndiath explained the reasons that led him to commit this irreparable act. Following the discovery of his body, an investigation was immediately opened on the instructions of the High Commander of the National Gendarmerie.
According to our sources, the head of the SAT (Special Administrative Section) of the Tambacounda legion reportedly lost significant sums of money betting on the Xbet online gaming platform. These successive losses are said to have led to his complete financial ruin, the starting point of his despair.
The ceremony to remove the body took place this Sunday at the Principal Hospital in Dakar, in an atmosphere of intense emotion.
