The deputy governor of Thiès, Ababacar Sadikh Niang, chaired a regional workshop dedicated to the evaluation and planning of activities of the Regional Monitoring Committee of the School-Business Training Program (CRS-PF2E).

This meeting provided an opportunity to review the actions taken, identify the difficulties encountered, and define the prospects for strengthening this system which aims to bring the world of school closer to that of business.

Looking back at the performance recorded in 2025, Ababacar Sadikh Niang indicated that in Thiès, 128 learners were trained in 7 classes covering 5 trades. Among them, 56 candidates were presented for certifications, with a 100% success rate.

He deemed the results satisfactory and the fruit of close collaboration between the various stakeholders. The deputy governor called for greater efforts to address the challenges related to youth employability and adapting skills to market demands.

He praised the strong mobilization of stakeholders, which he considers proof of commitment to the development of the region and the improvement of training and employment conditions for young people.

Ababacar Sadikh Niang invited participants to constructive exchanges oriented towards the general interest, in order to strengthen the effectiveness of the program.

Convinced of the potential of the PF2E, he stressed the importance of an inclusive and strategic approach to make it a major lever for development in the Thiès region.

The workshop opened on a note of optimism, with the ambition to consolidate achievements and to give new impetus to vocational training and youth employment.
