Fass Mbao : une dette de 1 500 F CFA se termine en meurtre sanglant
A man was arrested in Fass Mbao by Yeumbeul Sud police officers on the night of September 5-7 for a murder allegedly linked to a debt of 1,500 CFA francs.
According to a press release from the national police seen by Walf Quotidien, officers, alerted by a phone call, discovered the victim lying on his back, with a serious throat injury and a bloody knife nearby.
Initial testimonies have established that a dispute broke out between the victim and the suspect over an old debt of 1,500 CFA francs. A first fight reportedly took place around 8 p.m., followed by a second later in the evening, which ended in a fatal stabbing.
The alleged killer is in custody.
