Finale de la CAN 2025 : Une dizaine de supporters interpellés, toujours entre les mains de la justice marocaine
During the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), held in Morocco, around ten supporters were arrested by police and remain in the custody of the Moroccan justice system. The arrests occurred during protests following a penalty awarded against the Lions in the dying moments of stoppage time.
According to information gathered from sources close to the case, those arrested are mostly supporters who came to support the Lions. Among them are five members of the 12th Gaïndé, three supporters of the Lebou Gui movement, as well as other fans who traveled to cheer on their national team during this highly anticipated match.
At this stage, the authorities have not yet officially communicated on the charges brought or on the progress of the legal proceedings.
Meanwhile, those involved remain under the responsibility of the Moroccan justice system, while the case continues to generate numerous reactions in public opinion.
