The Grand-Yoff district police station arrested a Guinean national on Saturday, January 10, 2026, for making death threats and blackmailing with intimate images. S. Kourouma, 36, who identifies himself as a footballer and resides in the Millionaire housing complex, is being prosecuted for serious offenses committed against his ex-partner.

The case began on January 5, 2026, when Ms. F. Camara went to the police station to file a complaint against her former partner. According to Seneweb sources, she accused him of making death threats, illegally collecting and threatening to distribute sexually explicit data.

During her hearing, the complainant explained that since she decided to end their relationship, S. Kourouma had been constantly threatening to kill her if she did not reverse her decision. The situation took an unexpected turn when the accused burst into her room.

An assault filmed under threat

According to the victim's statement, the man threatened her with a knife before forcing her to undress. Terrified, she complied. The suspect then activated his cell phone camera to record two videos of the young woman in various compromising positions, without her consent.

After filming these compromising images, S. Kourouma allegedly threatened to release them on the internet by sharing them with her friends, with the aim of falsely accusing her of prostitution and damaging her reputation.

Arrested five days after the complaint was filed, the suspect initially tried to deny the accusations against him. However, confronted with the videos of the victim found on his mobile phone during the search, he eventually confessed.

In his defense, S. Kourouma cited the brutality of the breakup of their long-standing relationship, seeking to justify his acts of revenge according to Seneweb sources.
