Grand-Yoff : Un entraîneur de basket accusé de viol sur son élève de 11 ans

During a basketball tournament organized in Mbour in September 2025, SS, 11 years old, a student in CM2 class and a player at the Conachap Basket Club of Grand-Yoff, was allegedly the victim of repeated sexual assaults by her coach, WB, 28 years old, a basketball coach residing in Grand-Yoff.

The young woman later stated that she had been "invited every night by her coach to his tent to be sexually abused against her will." These incidents allegedly occurred at least five (5) times during her stay.

Three months later: the revelation to the parents

Approximately three months after the events, SS's parents were informed of the alleged actions by two relatives, S. and R. Alerted, they decided to contact the Grand-Yoff police in order to "bring the matter to justice" and filed a complaint letter on March 12, 2026 with the Grand-Yoff district police station, for sexual assault on a minor.

On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, WB was taken into custody at the Grand-Yoff district police station.

When questioned by investigators, the victim confirmed the facts, claiming to have "spent several nights with her coach in the same tent" and to have suffered abuse by force on several occasions, according to Seneweb sources.

A gynecological examination, carried out at the request of the service, concluded that there was an "old hymenal lesion at 11 o'clock", thus confirming the reality of the sexual violence.

When questioned by investigators, WB admitted to sharing his tent with the young girl during their stay in Mbour and to having "offered her bananas." However, he categorically denied any abuse, despite the corroborating evidence gathered during the investigation.

The investigation opened by the Grand-Yoff district police station is still ongoing.

Osez rétablir la peine de mort pour ce genre de crime au lieu de proposer des lois trop ambiguës à l'assemblée nationale . Si c'est vrai que cet entraineur a commis ce crime, basez-vous sans tarder sur la charia pour lui régler LÉGALEMENT son compte !

Ki mo niak diom, mounane il admet avoit partagé sa tente avec la petite. Il faut torturer ces salopards avant de les envoyer en prison. A tous les parents. Ngiir yallah veillez sur vos enfants filles ou garcons et parlez leur en permanence. Interrogez, alertez, expliquer qu'ils doivent eviter ou refuser. Et ne les laissez pas aller dans des endroits a risques ou non maitrises Soyez paranoïaques sur le sujet.
