Guerre ouverte sur les réseaux sociaux : Gaston Bandimic lynché pour un partage, il réplique sèchement
Rapper Gaston Bandimic has broken his silence following the wave of reactions sparked by the sharing of Thiat's new track on social media. Faced with criticism, the artist felt compelled to clarify his position and reiterate the meaning of his activism.
“I just shared Thiat’s song. Ngéén mélni damalén rayal sén taaw,” he retorted, visibly annoyed by the scale of the controversy. According to Gaston, some activists or political sympathizers now take any criticism or dissenting opinion as a personal attack against their side.
The rapper emphasized that their initial struggle transcended partisan considerations. "Défare Sénégal mo taxoon ñu xéx mais pas sen parti politique," he declared. This was a way of reminding everyone that the committed artists and activists who have championed certain civic causes in recent years did so, in his view, to defend the interests of Senegal and not to serve a political party.
This release comes amidst a climate where Thiat's song is generating considerable debate on social media. In this song, the Keur Gui member openly criticizes the current government, youth unemployment, and the country's economic situation.
