Côte d’Ivoire : Des manifestants condamnés pour troubles à l’ordre public
Around 700 people were arrested for participating in banned opposition demonstrations, according to prosecutor Oumar Braman Koné. On Thursday, 32 protesters were tried: 26 were sentenced to 36 months in prison for "disturbing public order," and 105 other defendants will be tried next week in Abidjan. The protests were linked to the challenge to President Alassane Ouattara's bid for a fourth term.
