Hôpital de Ndamatou : le ministre de la Santé inaugure le service des urgences-réanimation et le laboratoire
The Minister of Health and Public Hygiene, Dr. Ibrahima Sy, officially inaugurated the Emergency Reception and Intensive Care Unit and the laboratory of the Ndamatou Hospital in Touba on Thursday, in the presence of the Turkish Ambassador to Senegal and several health and administrative authorities.
According to the Director of the institution, Dr Bineta Diabel Ba Mbacké, these new infrastructures are the result of exclusive funding from the State of Senegal, while the equipment is the result of a joint effort between the Senegalese State and Turkey, through the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency.
In the same vein, a donation of state-of-the-art medical equipment was also granted to the neonatology unit of the pediatric department.
For the Director of EPS Touba Ndamatou, this synergy of actions illustrates effective, united cooperation oriented towards sustainable results, in perfect coherence with the Senegal Vision 2050 framework, which places health, human capital and territorial equity at the heart of national priorities.
According to Ms. Mbacké, these new services will make it possible to better meet the high demand for healthcare in the city of Touba and its surroundings.
