JACADÉMIE met en place la plus jeune plateforme de leadership féminin

As part of the celebration of International Women's Day on March 8, the JACADÉMIE leadership and social impact school organized a special meeting through its JACADÉMIE GIRLS initiative, dedicated to promoting female leadership.

Led by three committed young women; Mariama, Diaga and Hadiza and inspired by their coach and mentor Mrs. Jacqueline Fatima Bocoum, this initiative creates a space for exchange and inspiration for young girls around the theme:

"Women's Empowerment: Body, Mind, Business"

The meeting took place on Saturday, March 7th at the Le Jardin room of the La Pointe des Almadies restaurant and brought together nearly one hundred young girls around several exceptional coaches.

Ms. Fatou Jupiter, actress and producer, shared her experience with female entrepreneurship in the cultural industries, inviting young girls to believe in their talents and invest in creative sectors.

Ms. Mame Bineta Diouf de Tahami, a personal development coach, addressed the issue of body shaming with conviction, a topic particularly close to her heart. She encouraged young women to reject demeaning judgments, learn to command respect, and cultivate self-love, while developing emotional intelligence and making conscious choices about their environment.

For her part, Ms. Rouguiyata Diaw, midwife and president of Debbo 221, raised public health issues, educating participants on the importance of responsible societal behavior, preserving the body and mind, while praising the achievements of these young women who launch start-ups while pursuing their studies.

Closing the meeting, Ms. Jacqueline Fatima Bocoum stressed the importance of high self-esteem among young women, recalling that JACADÉMIE GIRLS is an interactive platform that supports their development in a world where they must learn to rely on themselves, while cultivating respect for others and confidence in their own abilities.

Through this initiative, JACADÉMIE reaffirms its commitment to young, female, responsible, confident and inspiring leadership.

Meetings are planned throughout 2026 in schools, universities and training institutions in Dakar, before traveling to several regions of the country in order to broaden this support initiative.
